For decades, the Institute has advocated for women’s rights and gender equality. We support laws protecting women from discrimination and abuse, as well as programs promoting women’s education, economic opportunity, and political participation. The Institute also funds shelters and crisis hotlines for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
Fighting Modern Slavery
Slavery may be illegal, but it still exists in many forms today like human trafficking, forced labor and child labor. The institute works with lawmakers and law enforcement to strengthen anti-trafficking policies and prosecute perpetrators. We also support organizations providing shelter, healthcare, and job training,g for survivors to help them rebuild their lives.

Partnering With the Institute to Advance Human Rights
